After a weekend of brainstorming, designing and building, Startup Weekend participates enjoyed a fantastic dinner while they watch each others presentations.

Sunday Night Recap

Thank you to everyone for an amazing weekend!  Special thanks to our hosts,Patty and Charles, your house was amazing!

Thank you to our judges, Kathy Walker, Herb Sih and James Clarke as well.

The overall prize went to Herd Map (http://www.herdmap.com) for building a Google Map hot spot of cool places to go based upon checkins/posts from GoWalla, Bright Kite, Twitter and FourSquare.  They’ll receive $500, five tickets to the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Innovation Luncheon, and two passes for a seminar of their choice at the Enterprise Center of Johnson County.

The runner up prize went to One More Point for building an open source game engine on top of the Android stack (http://www.onemorepoint.com/).  They’ll also receive $500, five tickets to the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Innovation Luncheon, and two passes for a seminar of their choice at the Enterprise Center of Johnson County.

SpeakBack Now won the $5000 raffle for Briarcliff Reality space.

Grats to TechGuyTom for winning the Twitter contest and to Aaron for winning a pass to an ECJC seminar.

The Overall & Community Winner will consist of 3 parts:
- 40% Team votes. Each SW team will have TWO (2) votes to cast. They can NOT vote for their own team.

- 30% Judges. Each Judge will consider 5 categories: Viability, team dynamic, innovation, and breakthrough potential.

Please join us and the Startup Weekend teams as we recap the weekend and the projects. All teams will be wrapping up at Infegy at 5:00. We will be heading to Charles Garner Mansion by 6:00. Demos and Presentations will start shortly after.
